I’m considering deploying the UEB NFR edition on the new HP Microserver Gen 8. Having read Rod’s thread, I wanted to see if anyone had any similar issues running UEB on the Gen 8 or similar hardware?
The Gen 8 i’m looking at uses an Intel G1610, which CPU passmark reckons is about 164% more powerful than the N40L mentioned in Rod’s thread.
It will have 16GB of RAM and the UEB appliance will have the whole machine to itself. I will be using Hyper-V server 2012 as the hypervisor. It will be backing up two VM’s on from our main server.
