I would appreciate your suggestions and advice on some backup solutions for our VMs.
Here is our setup:
We have two Esxi servers which are attached to Dell MD3000 storage Array through iSCASI (which is again directly attached with two MD1000 enclosures each have 15 disks and RAID 6 is configured). All our servers installed as VMs on this storage array. We would like to back up all the VMs and their configuration files to a separate Server. We have two spare HP Proliant DL370G servers mounted in our rack (doing nothing). The manager has given me this task to me to come up and implement the backup solution (backing all the VMs on storage array to these HP Proliant Servers).
As I have no prior experience of backup in virtual environment, so I would be very grateful if you can advice me where to start with.
