I have setup an ESXI 5.0 host with a Virtual Windows Server R2 running Veeam 8.0.
I then created a test SLES 11 SP3 server on our production ESXI 5.0 server.
I was wondering about the File Level restore option in Veeam. It creates a clone of the Entire Test VM back onto the production ESXI server. It wouldn't let me load the proxy on the Local Windows server or ESXI.
My main concern is if I we needing to restore a file from our main File server (SLES 11 /OES 11) which is 1.2 TB. Do I really need to maintain twice the size of the largest VM in order to restore back a file?
