We’re running Server Essentials 2012 R2 at a small business, and we've initially configured our onsite backups (Windows Server Backup) and offsite backups (CrashPlan PRO) to cover only business and user data files as well as workstation backup files.
We’re now looking to do full server, bare metal backups both onsite and offsite without breaking the bank.
Can anybody recommend basic USB external storage devices (2 TB) that work well with Windows Server 2012?
And can anybody recommend cloud backup services that offer bare metal recovery?
Acronis Cloud Backup is $899 for the year, plus $99 for initial seeding, and while that isn’t totally out of our range, we’re looking for solutions that are less expensive.
