I have two 2012 Hyper-V hosts (DL380P G8 and DL380 G6). I have an HP P2000 G3 SAN as well which hosts the VMs. I am trying to figure out what is the easiest way to configure HSR so if the G8 host dies I can spin up my VMs on the G6 host. I have just enough space on the G6 host to replicate my VMs from the G8. However, I am wondering if I should/can replicate to the SAN instead. I am new to StorageCraft, Hyper-V and iSCSI so thanks in advance for your patience. My initial plan was to just replicate to the G6 but now I am wondering if it would be better to create a new volume on my HP SAN and store the HSR files there. Any help would be appreciated.
