I'm looking at Disaster Recovery options for my organisationat the moment. We're a small organisation in terms of IT footprint running a couple of hyper V hosts, up to 10 VMs running out of our head office. My main concern is getting back to BAU quickly in the event of a major disaster such as fire or theftaffecting head office.
We are looking to contain costs, particularly recurring ones but understand that sometimes the money needs to be spent. Currently I'm backing up to tape for offsite backups but am open to other approaches if they greatly improve our recovery speed/strategy.
I'm looking for a vendor that can provide infrastructure in the event of a majordisaster and perhaps once or twice a year for testing purposes. An adhoc arrangement would be ideal but I may be hoping for too much there. Based on our current back up...
