I have a network of around 12TB, all backed up to a NAS storage. I want to backup the NAS storage to another physical location, but moving 11TB of data over network is will mean extra monthly data line costs (Which i dont want). Best solution I've found is to use tape drive to copy everything from NAS to these tapes and send the tapes physically to another location.I intend to buy it online and ship it here because local prices are ridiculously high.I'm reading so much on the differences between LTO and LTO-4 and LTO-5 and the differences between IBM and HP brands..etc Im quite lost.
My problem is that I don't know which tape drive best fits this requirement.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a specific Tape Drive model for this scenario?
