Hi
Hoping someone can help me our Exchange 2007 box isn't clearing down its truncation logs even though Veeam is set to and the job reports to the nacked eye it is successfully completing.
Along with Veeam we have realised the vss writers are in a fail state after the backup has run.
I have tried rebooting the server and the initial state is stable however once the backup runs all 9 vss writers turn to a failed state, these include Systems Writer, ASR writer, IIS Config Writer, COM+ REGDB Writer, IIS Metabase Writer, WMI Writer, Registry Writer, Shadow Copy Optimization Writer and Microsoft Exchange Writer.
Setup wise we are running Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V host, Exchange 2007 is on a Server 2008 SP2 box.
I know it isn't ideal but the Exchange installation is on the OS volume, would creating a new disk and moving the Storage Group to this...
