I have three shared directories on two servers. I am looking for software / utilities that will allow me to determine where duplicate files reside and delete the duplicates across all shares on both servers. But before the duplicates are deleted I would like a marker / link placed in the location where a duplicate is deleted that points to the copy of the file that still exists.
On a separate process I am looking for software that will determine which files have not been accessed since a given date. I would then like to move these files to alternative storage but keep the directory structure and file meta data in place.
The files are primarily MS Office, PDFs, graphic files, and some videos.
