We currently use Symantec Backup Exec 2010, but we need to revisit our backup solution especially now that we have VMs in production.
What I would like is a solution that lets me back up full volumes/VMs with the option for full restoration or granular file restoration. I've looked a bit at Veeam and I like that it integrates with vSphere web client.
Do most of you use a backup for your physical machines and another for your virtual? I know some people prefer Unitrends, any good pro/con comparison of Unitrends and Veeam?
We're budgeting for a new backup solution, so I would rather pay for a good solution that suits our needs than a free one. I'm planning on buying a new backup software as well as backup storage since we've only got a ten terabyte storage for backups currently.
