I am currently running backups to tape using Backup Exec 2012. Recently, we have been getting the following error message when the backup runs. Something along the lines of:
Completed status: Failed
Final Error: 0xe000fe36 - Corrupt data encountered. See the job log for details.
Final error category: Resource Errors
Basically when performing the backup, Backup Exec thinks the .bkf files it's trying to back up is corrupted and cannot verify.
I have looked at the following article from Symantec, which suggests the file may be in use whilst the backup operation is running, or the location of the file has changed but I don't think either is happening. I have also changed the priority of the jobs to the highest, tried solution 1 (turning on AOFO for the back up jobs) and I am about to try solution 1 part D (use Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider).

Additional info:
The .bkf files are coming from 3 computers running ntbackup which then saves it onto the server which runs Backup Exec. Event logs checked and they are completing successfully and well before the scheduled backup operation runs on Backup Exec.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
EDIT: Attached is some screenshots of the backup settings of the job.
