I am running that latest version of AA Replay 4, everything is backing up except two of my 15 or so Win7 x64 machines.
I get this error when AppAssureR4 tries a snapshot of one of these two Win7 boxes:
Unable to take VSS snapshot and transfer data for 'C:, C:\\Windows\\SRPPartition, D:': 'There is insufficient storage space on the VSS snapshot volume(s) to take a snapshot. Try to free up disk space, or modify the HKLM\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\VolSnap\\MinDiffAreaFileSize registry setting to a smaller number. For more details see Microsoft KB article 925799 at http:/
This error is from the AAR4 logs. I have looked at this KB article and it states it is only for Windows Server 2003 only.
I am hesitant to apply the fixes in this Win2003 KB article to a Win7 x64 machine. Anyone else know how (in Win7 x64) increase the VSS space available via the registry?
