I discovered yesterday that the computers(2) that run a production machine in our plant is running Windows 2000. The company that made the machine is out of business and the chances of getting a replacement or updated software that will run in Win7 are slim to none.
We were discussing what the plan would be if a computer crashed and burned, and of course we thought about imaging the drives, is there a particular method for doing something like this or would this be a typical imaging, cloning, situation?
My biggest concern is I don't believe the original software is even here if we did have to rebuild, so I need something that I can restore and have a running machine.
