Looking for suggestions on a new backup system that will cover both Virtual and physical.
I already have Veeam for my virtual machines.
Looking for an all-in-one package or something to supplement Veeam for physical machines.
I already know that Unitrends is out...they do not support DHCP machines, everything has to have a static IP.
Looking at this page...http://www.virtualgraffiti.com/Solutions/28/Backup There appears to be plenty of solutions.
I'm also stuck with backing up to External USB drives, which are rotated weekly.
A small/midsized NAS/SAN would be nice as well. I already have a Dlink DSN-1100-10, but that thing is garbage for my needs.
My EMC VNX5300 is maxed out with Virtual machines and a CIF setup. Would have to add another tray of drives, no money for that.
Looking at 20+ physical machines to backup to something. This will be a mix of physical servers, desktops and laptops.
