In the past we always just ran a full backup of our mailbox database and public folder database. The size of the full backup has gotten very large so I need to figure out how to setup incremental backups of the exchange database. I setup a policy with full and incremental. The daily backup shows incremental-using archive bit (reset archive bit). But then if I go to the Microsoft exchange tab in job properties it says backup method: Full - Database & Logs. Do I need a different selection for incremental backups. In the past we only backed up the mailbox database listed under Microsoft Information Store as shown in the attachment. Everything is backing up but the incremental backups are the same size as the full backups.
