Here's my situation-
I have a local NAS that I would like to back up offsite. I was using Mozy for cloud based storage, but it gets a little pricy for the amount of data I am storing(around 8TB)
My company has another office that I set up a computer, with a VPN connection, and a backup utility and an external HD, my thought was that I could run the first full backup at the main location, and then do incremental/differential back ups offsite.
This works, but requires me to make sure the VPN connection is stable, and I continually have to go through the logs to make sure the back up actually ran. Is there a better way to do this? I would like more of a set it and forget it approach.
The software I'm using for the back ups is Nova backup utility.
Thanks for any insight or help provided, I appreciate it.
