Most of our users have laptops and they save most of their files on the local drive. We have found that we have the storage space to backup all of their local files to a network server. This would be a simple file copy initiated by clicking an icon on their desktop to start the backup process. Very simple on the users end.
Does anyone do this and is it really worth the trouble? I have recently thought this might be a good idea with the Cryptolocker ransomware issue lately and the usual hard drive failure issues.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
