I am looking to replace my current backup architecture and will obviously be setting up new jobs. Currently we have large jobs that capture multiple (about a dozen) servers at a time. I've always preferred to setup one job per server so that in the case where a job fails due to one server having a client issue, I can just restart that job instead of starting to back up all dozen servers again that were successful.
Is there any reason that I'm not considering as to why larger jobs that capture more than one server is more efficient outside of the time it takes to set them?
