I am working on weekly test restores and am having a bit of a problem with the Exchange DB restore to a recovery area. The restore it self goes great, it first restores the full DB backup and then the latest differential according to the date I chose.
The problem is if I restore a date after the full, meaning it then also includes a differential, I can not mount the database without having to run eseutil /P. If I chose a date so just the full DB is restored it mounts cleanly as expected.
Any thoughts or suggestions? Using UEB 7.2.0-3, Exchange 2010 SP3 on Windows Server 2008 R2 VMware VM.
