I am running Server 2008R2 and Server SQL 2008 With Symantec Backup Exec 2010. The backups are running correctly and finishing with no errors. My issue is I have tried readjusting the backups so that it doesn't eat up my whole hard drive with old backups. It is suppose to replace the oldest one with the new one, but it is not working that way. I have to go into the server every other day and delete old backups to make room for new ones. What am I doing wrong that would cause this to happen or what would need to be changed to fix this?
