I have a 2TB desktop at home (one of many machines) and a 2TB external that was backing it up. I have to clear the space off frequently or it won't always finish the backup. It backs up with Carbonite and MyClickFree to capture files, but I like having an image just in case. There are too many programs installed if I have to recover and I've lost too much data over the years due to hardware failure.
So I found a 4TB external from NewEgg for $129 (and free shipping) and wondered if some other home NAS might have been a better solution... I couldn't argue with the price though. It can't be any worse than what I am using now and I won't have to clear space weekly.
What can I do for an easy to implement backup solution (images are most importat) for around 5TBs of data across multiple machines?
