OK, I know I can contact Unitrends support, but I've got this new addiction to asking here first, and saving a phone call (I HATE talking on the phone)....
New UEB install (trial) on Hyper-V Server 2012.
Added agents on a few Windows and Linux boxes (mix of VM and Phys.)
Setup a few backups.
6TB free space, all but 500GB allocated to backup.
Several times now a random Windows server fails, or an Exchange backup takes forever to actually do anything, then fails. In each case it notes "Insufficient disk space" in the UEB console. Other concurrent backups roll along just fine and even another Exchange datastore on the same server completed successfully.
Re-run the failed jobs and one completes and the other fails with the same error. Run again and all complete. Run yet again, and a different box fails with that error.
SharePoint backs up fine, and the Linux boxes back up fine.
The failures are in VMs and physical boxes, with no real pattern except one: If I have no other jobs running and run one at a time, there are NO failures. Concurrent backup limit is set to 4, the UEB VM has a dedicated gigabit NIC, good cabling, solid connections.
Verified that the storage target was correct in each case, and that there's plenty of space.
So, anyone seen this one before? Could it be something silly? I thought about allocating more RAM to the UEB box over the default 4GB, and may try that later, but thought I'd post to the hive mind anyway.
