Unitrends Install Question

Happy Friday all! I have a quick question as we would like to lab up Unitrends and see if it fits our needs. We had them in house for a sales/tech meeting a month or so back and liked what they had.

We have both VMWare and Hyper-V Environments but testing in the Hyper-V. We have 4 hosts in a cluster and I spun up a virtual machine to host the software (4 vCPU, 16GB or Ram, Plenty of Disk Space). However since you can not install hyper-v role on a VM in hyper-v I cannot even get to install (which based on this http://www.unitrends.com/docs/user-guides/unitrendsenterprisebackup-hyperv.pdf ). I really do not want to install it on the host machine, but rather on a VM I can manage resources on more easily. As this is how we have it set up with our current backup software. Can anyone advise how this is typically handled? I called to ask a pre-sales tech support question but have not hear back yet today.

Should I be using a different install method and not the enterprise backup download for hyper-v?

Any insight would be great, sure it is a simple answer, just have not heard back and know quite a few of you are avid unitrends fans.
