Anyone using the Asigra DS-Client? No longer using this and I need to free up some space on the server it resides on. I want to uninstall the client as well as the SQL server install.
There is an Oracle Database on the server that contains historical information. I was advised by the vendor of the ERP system that utilizes the Oracle DB that the backup software had made some modifications in regards to logging and that I should contact the Asigra vendor before uninstalling.
Quick background: We purchased the assets of a company that was pretty much bankrupt, and on bad terms with a lot of vendors. Unfortunately, they were on bad terms with the Asigra vendor as well, and I don't anticipate getting any answers out of them.
Anything I need to do to prepare the Server or Oracle DB to ensure a smooth uninstall?
