How does Veeam B&R Std v8 behave if I have a single socket license, and a dual socket host, with both sockets populated with CPUs? Does it throw an error, fail the backup job?
I'm not trying to sneak around the license, but trying to figure out how to handle a dual CPU server which is being repurposed. I don't specifically need two CPUs for this system. I may have to lobotomize it and pull the second CPU to comply with the license.
Just doing research now, and was wondering how the software handles this.
