Socket Error 10053 Causing Extended Backup Times

Hi,

Currently I’m using CA ARCserve Backup r16 SP1 and receiving the following message from the activity log,

“Reestablished TCP connection to client agent SERVERNAME@IPADDRESS for network error 10053.”

The issue is consistent in the way it always happens to the same server on the same drive. The server is a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 domain controller running the following items,

• File and Print

• WSUS

• Manage Engine products Service Desk, OpManager and Desktop Central

Every time I’ve received the error it’s in the middle of backing up the D drive which contains WSUS and the 3 Manage Engine products.

Drivers for the NIC cards have been updated and I’ll also mention the NIC’s have been teamed using the Broadcom software.

Trying to get to the root cause of the issue I was able to unmask the CA ARCserve error to find the following,

[SD] Send Error....
