We're an MSP and we manage roughly 120 servers. Right now we're a Dell AppAssure shop. Some good features. However, some bad features as well!
- Every site needs a pretty hardcore PC that does nothing but run Dell AppAssure. This is usually a server with 8 GB+ RAM, sometimes more.
- AppAssure is Full Disk only. We can't just do file-level if we want.
- AppAssure replication is Full Disk only. We can't just replicate file-level if we want.
We're looking at StorageCraft instead.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the competition between the two!
We've also toyed with BackupAssist, but we don't have enough experience to know much.
