I am using fog (open source linux imaging software) to image a windows 7 PC.
How it works is you create a host on fog (add MAC) and schedule an image upload.
You then restart the PC and pxe boot it. It will automatically start uploading an image to the fog server.
Last time I did this was for a new PC with no data, it took half an hour. I am imaging a PC with data and it says it's got 2 hours left. The user is going to need the machine back in half an hour - is it safe to force reboot the PC and cancel the upload? As all it's doing is copying the disks rather than copying to the disks?
