I have been researching various backup solutions to try and get our current DR and backup streamlined. We currently have Backup Exec 2012 which backups up to two HP autoloaders. One autoloader is used for backups of our VM hoststhe other is for the data that resides on the VMs as well as a couple of physical servers. I was looking to try and consolidate the backup jobs to haveBackup Exec do VM backups with GRT enabled so we wouldn't need theseparate data backups but I found that GRT of VMs does not support VMs withdisks that are larger than 2TB nor will theyperform GRT if the VM has MBR and GPT disks on the same VM.We have one server that has multiple drives that are 4TB in size and has two MBR disks then there are 4 GPT disks. This is our main data server so I am wondering if there is some other solution that would help...
