I am looking for a backup product that specifically is known to work well with User Profile Disks in 2012 R2.
RDS Farm with 2 clustered 2012 R2 Storage Servers connected to a DAS. Will host about 600 user profile disks around 300mb to 5gb in size.
I'd love to find something that excludes files too, like OST files since they are going to make up 90 percent of the used disk space for users and do not need to be backed up.
The storage servers are physical boxes with all data on external DAS boxes.
I'm asking the question because differential backup sometimes struggles with very large files and that is what these will be.
There are 2 clustered servers in 2 locations for redundancy, 1 off site emergency backup and then a local backup NAS that we want for file recovery.
