I have a QNAP and one department stores all their data on a single share on it. I'm struggling to find an effective way to back up this NAS share. I've tried several utilities but currently I'm only using rsync as nothing else seems to work. I know rsync isn't a backup, that is why I'm trying to find a better solution.
We have Veeam and ShadowProtect for everything else and I'd hate to buy an expensive product just to back up a single 720 GB share on a NAS. It would be going off-site to another QNAP NAS when it is being backed up.
Anybody else ever been in this situation? Maybe my googlefu is weak, but I wasn't able to turn up much.
