I'm toying around with the UEB Virtual Appliance and it seems to force a minimum size of 200GB space for the main machine. The problem is that we want the storage space to be on a separate datastore than the VM. Install works fine with thin provisioning, but with it wanting 200GB and we only have a 146GB space where the main install is, we'll be in trouble if things grow too big.
I do have 1.5TB attached from a secondary datastore that I intended for the main location of the backup store, but I'd love to shrink that 140GB LVM that it wants to force down my throat for part of the backup space that it includes with the main virtual appliance. Is there any documentation on how to shrink this thing down?
