My two favorite tools for local backups both seem to have some limitations.
I try to get most of my clients on my CrashPlan PROe cloud-based backup, but some of them don't want to pay monthly for online backup and prefer local backup. In that case, using CrashPlan Home it only does a backup once every 24 hours with an unpaid account.
I had also used Cobian Backup previously, and while it still seems to work fine (v11 is the latest), it hasn't been actively developed or supported in some time.
Anyone have any good recommendations for a full-featured local backup software solution. Preferably it would be free and/or open-source, and would have a lot of the same features as the above (i.e. VSS, file/folder backup, scheduling, runs as a service, email notifications, etc.).
