If I do the system backup, and files (basically a bare metal restore) will I be able to not need a backup for the SQL databases too as long as I include the path to the files?
I am thinking yes, because it should restore to the bit, security and file info, but I dont want to risk it. (better to ask than to assume)
This is on server 2008R2, so if I have the backup going to a NAS at their second location (offsite still sort of) should a restore be able to kick sql back up with the info up to the last back up?
