Using Backup exec 2010 and until the past week it has been a pleasure to use. However over the past week or so the job rate has gone from 1.156.00 MB/min (we backup to tape) to 495.00MB/min. We have another backup that backs up incremental backups at 6 O clock (to a remote server) and Symantec starts at half 10 so I know they're not clashing which is what I originally thought it could be. Just seems odd that the job rate can be halved completely for no changes made to the servers whatsoever.
Has anybody else experienced slowdowns when using Backup Exec where the job rate dramatically reduces for them as well?
