Hey guys. We currently have a FOG server to do image deployment with. We also have 36 computers that are on 24/7. They are used to run special pieces of equipment and are only restarted every Monday (All Lenovos running Win 7 Pro). If a drive dies, we do the re-install of Windows, but have to wait for a third party to come and install equipment specific software, which can take up to 24 hours. We actually use EMC Avamar to back the data up, but I am looking for a way to restore a snapshot to a drive (probably taken weekly) in the event that a disk fails. We currently have Ghost on 3 machines as a proof of concept (just single licenses). While it works, it's going to get expensive quickly, and because we already have a true backup software, I don't want to spend the money on ANOTHER backup software.
