As part of our membership with a non-profit association for Texas community health centers we get a certain amount of storage space at their location for offsite backups (500GB of space). They recently moved from an old Avamar system to NetVault, and we are in the process of setting up the new datasets for backup. We have two issues. First, and most importantly, we have almost500GB of data we need to keep offsite now, meaning we'll surpass that quickly. Secondly, they are in Austin and we are in De Leon three hours away. In a disaster if our onsite backup was damaged we would have no choice but to drive to Austin to obtain our backups. Just having one of our medical databases restored would take days on our slow T lines.
