We're running HP Data Protector 8.00 as our backup solution. The cell manager server is on a Windows 2008 R2 box. I have two servers running Windows 2012 R2 in a failover cluster, with five file server elements running off that cluster.
I installed the HPDP agent on both physical hosts, and made them cluster aware. The DP Manager does see the cluster, including both physical hosts and all five virtual hosts. However, when I run a backup job, only the physical servers are actually backed up. The clustered elements all fail, giving the following error:
Ipc subsystem reports: "IPC Read Error
System error: [10053] Software caused connection abort
