We are a non profit Govt agency. we get no funding from the government but if we are in profit we give that to government.
I need some advice on my current backup plan.
No of Servers (VM): 16
Backup Devices: 2 Qnap's (10 TB Disk space each), 1 Tape Drive (10 1.6 TB tapes), Monthly 2 TB usb HDD (12 HDDS).
Every night all servers run their Shadow Protect backup to QNAP01. The backup size is 1.5 TB. Day1 Monday will be over written on next Day1 monday.
Every morning at 6 am Qnap01 will do rsync to Qnap02.
Qnap01 will run incremental backup to Qnap02 during day.
Tape backup will run at 6:15 am every morning (only 5 days as we don't work on week ends). each tape will be reused every fortnight. means 1st September tape will be reused on 14th September.
On 1st of every month we run monthly backup to 2 TB USB HDD. this monthly backup is...
