Anyone else having issues with Crashplan Pro repeatedly not being able to connect to the backup service on Server 2012 Essentials, causing the backups to stop functioning?
On the problem server Crashplan will now only work for about 3-5 hours before mysteriously stopping. The only way to get it working again is to reboot the server, delete the Crashplan Cache and then manually start the Crashplan service. After which it work for another several hours usually just enough to complete the backup and then stop functioning again.
Interestingly, the Crashplan Service can't be successfully stopped on the problem server. Trying to stop the service results in 'Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.' On the other servers the Crashplan service can be successfully stopped and started.
