Any recommendations for backing up 8Tb of data offsite?
To upload it to a cloud provider would likely take a month or two for the first backup so that's pretty much out the question.
There are a few companies that will allow you to send them the initial seed on HDD, but these companies are generally looking for a minimum of £1000 per month some as high as £3500 a month. This just isn't feasible for the client.
Even using tapes would probably require an autoloader and i'm sure that won't come cheap.
Has anyone else come across this problem? If so what route did you go down?
