Currently I am using the $50 Backup4all software and an old NAS box to backup my data over a gigabit LAN.
A Windows PC, installed with Backup4all software runs 1 full backup and then daily incremental backup to NAS box. Because of the size of the backup and the amount of time it takes to complete, I am running the full backup only once in every 6 months.
Ideally, I would like to have my full backup running during weekends and incremental backup during weekdays, preferably using disk (or tapes?)
I have done this in the past using LTO tape libraries and Backup exec but it is too expensive to implement with my current shop.
Are there any less expensive technology around for a 25 user shop?
