I work for a manufacturing company that has pieces of machinery in the shop that will use files that have stored on a local NAS system to figure out part layouts and the like. We also use MAS and various other pieces of software in a VM environment and with that we have both Windows Server machines and CentOs based machines. I just came into this position about a month ago and what they have currently in place is Bacula backup which syncs our MAS database every 15 minutes onto a VM Mas Sync server so that we don't have to ever touch the live server. What we are not too sure on is whether Bacula is doing as good of a job backing up things as we hoped. We have tried to restore on a trial one a few files and haven't been too successful.
