I am planning on using Veaam Backup to backup a domain controller vm and a file server vm to a Synology Nas device. But I also would like to have an offsite replica of my backups in case of fire or other events. I initially was planning on replicating my synology backups to another sinology in an offsite location but now I am looking on whether to replicate it to the cloud instead. The total amount of data would be around 800gb.
I looked into using Veeam Cloud to store it to Amazon S3 or Glacier. However, I do not like that the Veeam cloud is somethingi would have to buy every single year as opposed to the regular product. It does not seem just to pay every year just for the added benefitto transport my backup to a cloud service.
So, I was thinking if maybe I could use the regular Veeam product and buy Cloudberry Enterprise for 300...
