Hello everyone I'm back! So the plan to buy a new server has been put off by installation of new hard drives in the old server (which long story short had better equipment than my manager thought). Basically what happened is our old IT Consultant (gone now) built a server with 8 gigs of ram and a decent 64 bit processor, was supposed to come with Windows Server 2008 but he chose to downgrade it to 2003 basically ruining any hardware advantages it may have had.
We are back up and running with Windows server 2008 and fully utilizing our hardware. Now comes the issues of backups. I am using the windows server backup program and it was originally put to VSS copy, however, strangely enough it was only saving one backup on the 2tb HDD, when each backup is only ~300gb.
