I wanted to start a little post and see how others do their backups. As we start growing the way backups are being done with backup exec can be confusing. We have a tape library and just upgraded to have a second drive for it. I want to make sure that we utilize both droves so I dont want to do just one big backup job, but i want to make sure that everything gets backed up.
Do you backup each server as a seperate job?
Do you backup everything as one big job?
Do you do one for File servers, one for SQL, one for phone system, one for mail, one for web servers.....?
