With some good "sales pitch" and online demo, Dell's Appassure product seems convincing enough for us to take a first step. Dell's sales and technician verifies our scenario can be supported by Dell's Appassure.
However, upon purchasing and further testing, we discover that some elements that are critical for us in our DR purposes are missing.
After a few phone calls and escalation to the proper channel of tech support, we're been told that features such as protection and recovery of "Gen 2" VM running on Hyper-V 2012 R2 is not supported.
Of course, that's a big red flag for us as we purchase the product being assured(pardon the pun) that our requirements/scenario are fully supported.
