I'm trying to put together a back-up solution, please advise...
We have a Windows network with about 6 physical servers, 1 of which is a virtual host and has 4 VMs. We also have a synology Diskstation. Together all of the data is about 3 TB. We are a non-profit so I have a perpetual license for Backup Exec. I also was able to free up a Dell T110 Tower. We're a non-profit so we have to go as cheap as possible, so the method we have come up with is to archive weekly for offsite storage. My first thought was using hard drives, but I hear tape is still the preferred method for several reasons, however the tape drives are insanely expensive. What tape drive size would you recommend? We need something we can scale up to about 5 TB or maybe you guys have better suggestions. Some of the Data might be duplicate and maybe I don't need so much...
