CentOS VM with iptables running crashes under backup on Xenserver

I don't think it is an Unitrends Agent bug but if I start a master backup on a VM server with iptables running, CentOS crashes.

The OS looks like working, but it hangs, webserver / database stops working, and impossible to soft reset, I must force shutdown and reboot.

It happens only if the server uptime is very long, after rebooting the server there is no problem with the backup with running iptables.

We have couple of different CentOS servers running as VM, it happened on CentOS ver 5.5, 5.9, 5.10, 6.3, 6.4 with iptables on, if I switch it off there is no problem backing up.

We don't want to do scheduled backups before we solve this problem. Some of these services are very impotant to run without downtime. We run webserver, database server, Wiki's and Intranet sites on these servers.

Is there anybody with similar issues?
