Disaster Recovery Testing with Unitrends

I need some help in how to perform a Disaster Recovery Test using Unitrends.  I currently use a Recovery 713 Appliance and I archive the data off to tape once a week.  In the event of a true disaster, Unitrends would overnight me a new appliance, I would rehydrate the appliance using the archive data from the tape, and perform the restores from there.

However, Unitrends does not loan out Appliances for DR Testing purposes.  That will require me to use UEB for DR Testing - and VMWare and Hyper-V do not support Tape passthrough.

I know I can archive to a SATA dock and drive, how though would I get that data into the UEB running on a Hypervisor (preferably Hyper-V since that's what I am more familiar with).

Thanks for your suggestions in advance!
